Arc Welding Process:
The gas tungsten arc welding process heats and melts the materials to be welded with an electric arc established between a tungsten electrode and the workpiece. Using proper fixturing and parameters, the process can be used for micro-welding applications where heat input needs to be minimized. Used in the continuous arc or pulsed arc mode. Arc energy is not as concentrated as a laser and thus heat input is higher to the workpiece.
